The modern fairytale inspired by Ted Brandsen’s Coppelia ballet, created for the Dutch National Ballet, has its big screen premiere. A story for all audiences in which the protagonist, Swan, tries to save her village and her partner from the spells of the charismatic cosmetic surgeon Coppelius. A film that helps us reflect and understand that, in an increasingly image-obsessed culture, being yourself has never been more important.
