MÍRALA CARA A CARA
Mírala cara a cara offers a fresh perspective on the sevillana dance, merging it with contemporary dance to explore its cultural value from an innovative standpoint. This piece does not aim to delve into the technique of flamenco, but rather to pay tribute to the first choreography that many Spanish artists learn, playing with tradition and connection through humour. A work that celebrates how, in these times, the idea of “looking one another in the face” takes on a symbolic and social meaning.
Colectivo Sin Par, founded in Valencia in 2019 by creators Lara Misó and Wilma Puentes, is known for its elegant aesthetic and exploration of bodily plasticity. With a style that seeks naturalness and fluidity, the collective has created pieces such as Efecto Siam (2029) and No es amor (2022), establishing itself in the contemporary scene with a unique choreographic language.
