SOMOS

SOMOS speaks of beauty through movement, unity and togetherness, internal listening, and connection. A dialogue between two bodies and all their pathways through the technique and language of threading , with influences from breaking and contemporary dance. Graceful and harmonious movements that enable the audience to directly connect with two bodies that come together to form one.

The duo lookathingsdifferent is made up of Carla Cervantes Caro and Sandra Egido Ibáñez, two choreographers and dancers who blend dance with ideas from other worlds, such as design, fashion, architecture, and photography. Their dance style is characterised by physical and delicate floor work, as well as by advocating for the fight against gender roles and stereotypes in their works. Together since 2013, they have worked in countries around the world including China, Dubai, Croatia, France, and Germany.
