La Banda spend their days looking for new ways to make rhythm in the city, their natural habitat. A pot of graffiti paint, an old radio, or something as ordinary as waiting for the bus, could, with a bit of imagination, motivate La Banda to forget boredom and begin to create rhythm. Through body percussion, tap and dance, these characters invite the audience, with their Rhythm in the Street, to join in their adventure. Are you in?
La Banda’s objective is to construct a language and identity of their own based on the use of different disciplines (including tap, body percussion, dance and gesture theatre) and to tell stories and transmit messages through rhythm and movement.
