Cinc maneres de matar el temps (Five ways to kill time)
A show that offers five duets with young male and female professional dancers from the Catalan scene. A work that celebrates physical differences and seeks to boost the different skills of each performer.
Cinc maneres de matar el temps is a show with ten performers, five pairs of young male and female professional dancers from the Catalan scene who offer five different textures of the relationships between two bodies on stage. The proposal, which shines the spotlight on local talent, presents a dialogue between the five couples, a reflection on space and the relationships established in it. A game of trust between dancers and choreographer: a balance between the acceptance and the modulation of the proposal in which earlier relationships are presented linked with new alliances. The show celebrates physical differences and boosts the different skills of each performer. A dynamic and energetic show.
Led by the dancer and choreographer Thomas Noone, the company has for two decades been offering dance shows for different types of audiences with a physical, poetic and rigorous language.
Thomas Noone proposes a workshop of “Reducció Conscient” open to non-professional people in dance and the performing arts, the aim of which is for the participants to gain body-awareness and enjoy experimenting with movement as an expressive tool.
