Contemporary dance and visual poetry are fused in a show for people of all ages featuring a performer and a marionette.
A performer and a marionette star in a piece of contemporary dance and visual poetry that speaks of the power of the relationship between bodies and objects, a relationship that is developed from the distance of invisible wires. How to feel the other body in this distance? How to perceive the world that unfolds far away and which cannot be touched? For D’Ascenzi, the wires create an invisible connection between everything that happens, the wires connect us with our families, the friends or people with whom we share paths, the wires maintain the connection in the distance.
The Italian dance and visual theatre creator Antonella D’Ascenzi, who has lived in Catalonia since 2010, develops her stage project for both families and adults, creating dialogues with her body, objects and images. She has been invited to projects like PARK IN PROGRESS of Pépinières européennes de Création, the Teatre VICTORIA EUGENIA in Donostia, the Circuit of the Alternative Theatre Network (2017 and 2019), Forum REGIO-Marionette de Vergèze in France, FiraTàrrega and la Alternativa de Madrid, among others.
