Inspired on Giselle, the legendary Romantic piece from 1833, it updates the way of understanding absolute love. It offers us a contemporary view in which this intense feeling is compared to the new rules of the game of today’s society, with technology that multiplies the possibility of having a temporary non-serious relationship that often leads to frustration.
The contemporary dance company KOR’SIA, based in Madrid, incorporates a piece of drama in its creations. Mattia Russo and Antonio de Rosa, formerly dancers with the CND Compañía Nacional de Danza, created the company in 2017 along with Giuseppe Dagostino and Agnès López Rio. Since then they have toured their five creations in different countries and they have won prizes such as the first prize of the Concours de Jeunes Chorégraphes (Opéra National de Bordeaux, Ballet Malandain and Opéra National du Rhin) or the first prize at the Tanzplattform in Berne, Switzerland, among many others.
