This bold dance and circus production from Motionhouse explores our disconnection from the natural environment, creating an urban forest in the day-to-day life of the city.

What does “being wild” mean? WILD, the bold dance and circus production from Motionhouse, explores our disconnection from the natural environment, posing the question of whether, in our modern lives, nature continues to influence our behaviour. An excellent show, where we see the creation of an urban forest in the day-to-day life of the city. With Motionhouse’s characteristic physical power, the performers use dynamic choreography, acrobatic movement and body-to-body association to move through a forest of tall poles.

Founded in 1988 by Louise Richards and Kevin Finnan MBE, Motionhouse is one of the world's great touring dance companies. From long-running productions to theatre tours, to performances on open-air stages and at large-scale events, their acclaimed productions involve athletic physiques, a strong narrative, incredible digital imagery and emotive sound scores.
