For(d) Fiesta is a search for the more subtle and more intimate impacts that drive and move Olga Clavel. It is what remains and resonates, always producing a memory. For(d) Fiesta is an invitation to resonate at different frequencies; it is about vibrating and being pierced by sound. It is a mantra that goes from impact to collective ecstasy. It is sharing with the audience the imprecise meanings of a choreographic creation process. The piece is part of La Moderna, L’Artesà’s programme supporting local creators.
Olga Clavel was a student in an intermediate-level vocational training course at the Dance Conservatory of Valencia, and has an undergraduate degree from the Alicia Alonso Higher Institute of Dance at the King Juan Carlos University in Madrid. She holds a Master’s degree in performing arts and started dancing professionally with companies such as David Campos, Lanònima Imperial, La Coja Dansa, Jasmin Vardimon and Eulàlia Bergadà. She is currently a dance coordinator and classical and contemporary dance teacher at the Escola d’Arts en Viu performing arts school in El Prat de Llobregat.
