The 24th Ballet Season is upon us and, like every year, it is being organised by the dance teacher and choreographer Carles Ibáñez i Padró, in collaboration with the Association of Academic Dance Teachers and the Catalan Federation of Dance Teachers.

This year, the event is changing venue so the ballet displays will be presented as a half marathon, with three really intense days of rehearsals and shows, in the assembly room of the Escola Sopeña Barcelona (C/ Violant d’Hongria Reina d’Aragó, 39-49).

The ballet seasons aim to provide dance students, teachers and choreographers with a chance to go on stage and present their work and its evolution. A total of 26 schools from all over Catalonia will be taking part this year and offering the general public an opportunity to enjoy live dance performances.
