Four unmissable pieces full of contrasts, by four great choreographers, performed by the Marseille National Ballet and directed by the French group (LA)HORDE.
Four unmissable pieces by four great choreographers: the explosiveness of Oona Doherty from Belfast, a great example of energetic, urban realist dancing, and Lasseindra Ninja, a queer voguing icon in France, contrast with the rigour and clarity of the veteran Lucinda Childs and Tânia Carvalho, from Portugal, who take the whole as a starting point and share a profound sense of line and rhythm.
The (LA)HORDE group, who since 2019 have directed the CCN Marseille National Ballet (a dance company founded by Roland Petit in 1972), questions the political aspect of dance, and through films, performances and choreographic pieces, forms an itinerary of popular revolts, from raves to traditional dances and jumpstyle.
