Cloenda a Badalona

After getting the boys and girls to take part in a collective dance, Badalona says farewell to the 2019 edition of Dansa Metropolitana, as do the other cities, with Tothom balla (Everybody Dance!) and a display by local associations and schools. On 30 March, every city dances!

Cloenda a Esplugues de Llobregat

In Esplugues, Dansa Metropolitana will end with a great participatory dance party that will be held at the Pista Vermella in Pou d’en Fèlix park. Mar Gómez’s choreography for Tothom balla will get the session underway and it will continue with the latest proposal by Moveo: the dance-theatre show Conseqüències.

To finish with, local dance will take centre stage: A Escena, Taller Flamenco, Esbart Vila d’Esplugues and the Bollywood group will give very intense performances and will get us dancing to their rhythm!

Amparo Ruiz, Eva Gris, Vanessa Adrián Gómez

Three dance centres in Cornellà – the Escola de dansa Amparo Ruiz, the Escola de dansa Eva Gris and Star Dance Studio – will pick up the baton of Tothom balla on 30 March, as part of the closing events in this city in El Baix Llobregat. Created by the titular choreographers of the three schools, together with professional students, A tres bandes. Come Back (pl. Catalunya, 12:15 pm) fuses the techniques of flamenco, hip-hop and contemporary dance in a surprising and intriguing way. It is a chance to enjoy the local emergence and to create a community around dance and the arts of movement.

Cloenda a El Prat de Llobregat

In line with the rest of the cities in Dansa Metropolitana, El Prat de Llobregat is calling on local dance groups to prepare a choreography and premiere it on 30 March. The closing session will end, of course, with Tothom balla, and with a series of free choreographies that will fill the day with dance.

Cloenda a Sant Cugat del Vallès

Sant Cugat will be bidding farewell to the second edition of Dansa Metropolitana with a closing party for everyone. This municipality in El Vallès will be inviting dance schools and centres in the city to present their choreographies and it will also give the stage to the integrated dance of the group Liant la Troca.

As in the rest of the participating cities, this party will get underway with Tothom balla, a community proposal, festive and open to everyone. The best way to celebrate dance!

Cloenda a Santa Coloma de Gramanet

The great names in film musicals are the inspiration for a travelling show in which the dance schools in Santa Coloma are taking part. A festive and entertaining idea that will take dance to the streets, so that everybody can enjoy the show.

Every 5 minutes, a new choreography will emerge from the Sagarra market and move to Plaça d’en Manelic. Just like in the classic Hollywood musicals, it will begin suddenly, with an ordinary everyday action, and will captivate the audience. Get ready for a route full of dance and surprises!
