Explica Dansa I - Modern and Contemporary Dance

The dancer Toni Jodar proposes an unusual way of telling the story of dance. With his own body, his experience and his humour he creates a pedagogical performance with which he illustrates the development of dance genres in a pleasant, creative way. Thanks to his movements and his relevant explanations, the dancer details the development from classical to contemporary dance, referring to the ways that the body has found to express itself in movement.

Explica Dansa is a project for creation and training co-directed by Beatriu Daniel and Toni Jodar. It offers key interpretative tools for making knowledge of contemporary languages more accessible, and inviting people to reflect on and discuss dance.

Admission to this activity will be free with anti-Covid measures at the Centre Cultural La Bòbila in L'Hospitalet and free of charge with advance booking at the different Civic Centres in Barcelona.
