On Saturday, 22 March, Catalonia will rally together filling the theatres with a united voice: “No Empty Seat!”
A great Theatre Day set to become an annual celebration, inviting everyone to take part with a simple challenge: choose your seat, sit down, and enjoy the show.
This special day coincides with the eighth edition of Dansa Metropolitana, with various performances from the festival actively taking part in this major campaign. Theatres such as Teatre Zorrilla in Badalona, Mercat de les Flors, TNC, Teatre Lliure, Antic Teatre, La Caldera, Teatre Joventut in L’Hospitalet, Teatre-Auditori Sant Cugat, and LaFACT Cultural in Terrassa will host performances by local and international artists, all joining the effort to make Catalonia the world capital of the performing arts for a day.
An initiative led by Adetca, Time Out, the Catalan Media Corporation (CCMA), with the support of the Catalan Government, Barcelona Provincial Council, and Barcelona City Council.
