Blanc salvatge
Can we identify any kind of sound? How long does the impact of sound last? How does it resonate in our bodies? How fast does it affect us? In the last years, Anna Fontanet has investigated over frequencies, sound bodies and movement, with the aim of generating sound landscapes that would constantly transform gesture. The frequencies generated by the computer, the noises of household appliances, the brakes of a vehicle, the tic-tac of a clock or the harmonic chants, are a set of resources to generate sound compositions and analysis for movement proposals.
Blanc salvatge is a research about sound and everything that awakes in us, both physically and emotionally. A solo performance based on the perception of the body as a landscape, an artistic experience that interprets the space and transforms it with the movement.
Dancer, choreographer and independent artist, Anna Fontanet incorporates sound composition, visual arts and other digital arts in its performative projects. As a creator in the field of dance, she is interested in opening spaces for communication through instantaneous composition, and she defends art as a language that is free of social, physical or gender stigma.
