Campament Alzines
After the creation of Calidoscòpica, the performance-based music and dance show about an encounter between two women, taking into account mental health, creativity, humour and well-being, choreographer Sònia Gómez has invited various community groups in the city to share the theatre exercises used in the research and production process for the Calidoscòpica. In this case, the participants are users of the Mental Hygiene Centre in the Les Corts neighbourhood.
Campament Alzines is a community co-creation project that builds on Calidoscòpica, aimed at groups living with chronic or temporary mental health conditions.
Since 2004, Sònia Gómez has been creating shows with the theme of the construction of identity, as well as using art to uncover social posturing and using body and performance to uncover artistic posturing.
Campament Alzines is part of the cycle Coreografies de l'enginy of the Teatre Aquitània within Dansa Metropolitana 2025. This series reflects the perfect fusion of dance and humour, designed to connect with an audience that loves theatre but seeks new experiences and a different way to enjoy dance from a fresher and more playful perspective.
