Too much, Elelei
What happens when fear is greater than love? Too much delves into the deterioration of human relationships through the concept of overprotection. With this piece, Elelei sought to explore what it means to try to stop someone against their will, the act of restricting a person's freedom out of affection. A creation that is both playful and serious, daring and suitable for all audiences.
Elelei was created in 2020 by Sabrina Gargano (Italy) and Rafa Jagat (Valencia) with the aim of investigating a unique language through contemporary dance and physical theatre. Since then, they have created three performances that have won international awards and continue to tour worldwide. Too much was a co-production of Dansa Metropolitana 2024.
Too much can also be seen on March 22 in Badalona in a triple program with Col·lectiu Big Bouncers and Cia Laia Santanach.

Desferra is an alternative interpretation of the apocalyptic futures we increasingly seem to be destined to live. It's a piece that makes us reflect on alternative futures that we can only reach by empowering new voices that rebel against what no longer works.
The Miquel Barcelona Dance Company brings together and collaborates with individuals, institutions and projects that align with the following five areas of interest: territory, memory, sustainability, education and audience development. Viewing artistic practice as a tool for social transformation, the company is an interdisciplinary, creative and accessible meeting space with which it engages.
