DOJI

In DOJI, an immersive dance with light and shadow, the movement of Brodas Bros illuminates the space through sensors connected to the dancers’ bodies. Visual artists Desilience, who have meticulously arranged the shapes and colours of the show, play with the dancers. Together they create a striking landscape which takes the audience on a journey full of colour, rhythm, music and dance. Each piece is a celebration that reflects on what we are, and how we move in this world of lights and shadows.

In its fifteen years of existence, this Catalan urban culture and dance company has already created some fifteen shows, which have been performed all over the world. They always exude an overwhelming energy, spectacular choreography and a positivism that defines their style perfectly. They are passionate about dance, and also about live music, lighting and new technologies. With interactive projections, improvisations and impossible choreographies, the company never stops dreaming and seeking that elusive magic touch in their shows.

Desilience are the visual artists Tania Halbach and Søren Christensen, who have been participating in the creation of great live visual shows, visual scenographies, musicals, dance shows and installations since 2005. All their work is the fruit of meticulous research and creation, from a place of experimentation and exploration from different angles.
