Un pastís al cel lands at the Mercat de les Flors with a unique unusual format: a family workshop based on an artistic experience. Families can see the stage show Un pastís al cel, performed by Georgia Vardarou and her daughter Mirtó, and afterwards with the sets of the show still present in the venue, fathers, mothers, boys and girls will approach movement as a tool of communication. Making room for the emotions and desires of the moment, tasks will be proposed to guide the families through an experience of dialogues without words. With the body as the voice, any destination, up or down, can be possible. The workshop is in two parts: artistic experience (30') + practical workshop (90'). The workshop will be carried out with child-adult couples.

Georgia Vardarou, a graduate of the National School of Dance (Κ.Σ.Ο.Τ.) in Greece, and then at P.A.R.T.S. in Belgium, has worked as a dancer for Salva Sanchis, Marc Vanrunxt, Cecilie Ullerup Schmidt, Lance Gries and Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker/ Rosas. As a choreographer she deals with personal movement and the content entailed in it. She has created Hardcore Research on Dance, Phenomena, New Narratives and Why should it be more desirable for green fireballs to exist than not. Her work has been presented in theatres and festivals all over Europe. After living in Brussels for 13 years, in 2017 she moved to Barcelona.
