Love, betrayal, forgiveness, redemption... Giselle, the masterpiece of classical ballet, is coming to the Auditori de Cornellà for the Dansa Metropolitana 2025 festival, presented by the Ballet de Barcelona under the artistic vision of choreographer Leandro Pérez Sanabria. This story preserves the original music while incorporating cutting-edge technology to enhance the realism of the sets and costumes, offering an experience beyond what’s familiar.

The piece introduces us to Giselle, an innocent peasant girl who falls in love with young Loys. Things are not as they appear as we unravel the deep secrets that will push the protagonist to her breaking point. A contrast between the beauty of the supernatural world and the reality of human emotions, revealing that the power of love can transcend even death.
