Hippos

In his debut at the street theater, the veteran company ZUM-ZUM Teatre has partnered with Quim Bigas, a multidisciplinary artist, creator of new formats and languages ​​for dance; And from this alliance, Hippos has come out, a family spectacle that shoots against appearances and stereotypes imposed by society. Three hippos dance, laugh, interact with people and invite you to participate in their games. However, beyond the fun, there’s a message hidden, the respect for difference. ZUM-ZUM Teatre is an artístic project dedicated to the creation, production and dissemination of scenic arts for all audiences. It is one of the driving forces of MARBI, a space of shared creation with other artists and companies that seeks to enhance creativity by adding experiences, resources and complicities.

Quim Bigas Bassart works in the fields of choreography, dramaturgy and the information society. This past year he has collaborated with Aitana Cordero Vico (To-get-her (e)) and Carme Torrent (Eclipse or the image always comes late); he has also created Chronicle of a worn space with the young group FESTUCS and has continued representing Molar and working with the Count of Torrefiel.
