Itinerant artistic intervention
Not only subway stations, but also those of trains and buses and, above all, the local squares, will host an interactive dance proposal that will transform the waiting in the station into a high-speed show. Camut Band, masters of tap dance, present in Esplugues, Sant Cugat and Viladecans Ballant damunt de tambors (Dancing on drums), a proposal with four tap dancers and two percussionists, with an end party that will feature the participation of all the artists and will make more than one traveler dance. But that's not all: Camut Band will invite students from different dance schools to do a shim sham, a tap dance routine, in a full of rhythm and energy flashmob.
Camut Band was born in 1995 together with Rafael and Lluís Méndez, percussion choreographers and dancers, and Toni Español, african dance and percussion group leader Cae MaDeila. In 2001 he started his International career, achieving great artistic and creative recognition both among crítics and the public of New York, Toronto, New Haven, Hamburg and Genoa. At he end of this year Camut Band widens his scenic cast with el choreographer and dancer Sharon Lavi. Ever since, the company has grown artistically with creations that merge tap dance with aerial dance, taking their shows all over the world.
Planned functions
