La mort i la donzella
Show cancelled

Contemporary dance meets Franz Schubert’s sublime string quartet No. 14 in D minor, in this production that won the 2021 Max Prize for the Best Dance Show in Spain.
With a contemporary revision of Schubert’s romantic composition, this show travels through essential existential elements, such as being alive or dead. The Valencian director and choreographer Asun Noales approaches this premature shift from one state to the other based on an organic body, in which life persists in its heartbeats but becomes a fragile sigh threatened by a gust of failure and ash. This production was awarded the 2021 Max Prize for the Best Dance Show, Choreography and Lighting Design.
The company offers a post-functional colloquium.
