LA NUIT, NOS AUTRES

After El dia de la bèstia, Aina Alegre buries herself once again into the universe of festivities and rituals to explore the concept of self-celebration and the various ways in which human beings are celebrated. LA NUIT, NOS AUTRES is a gestural and plastic experience around the many identities that coexist within each person. Alegre resorts to the self-portrait to represent this individual, intimate and liberating celebration: the transfiguration and transformation of the body to adapt to each of the different presences that inhabit it.

Dancer, choreographer and performer, Aina Alegre is a creator interested in the multidisciplinary arts. For her, coreography is a space to reinvent the body, fantasize it, play with fiction. She stem from a piece of work that is nourished by plastic, sound and cinematographic matters, as well as the corporal practices of different cultures, understood as social, historical and anthropological constructions.
