Lo Flamenco

Having spent almost 20 years working with Cristina Hoyos and having visited most of the world with Viaje al Sur, Romancero gitano and Poema del Cante Jondo en el Café de Chinitas, we, the Solistas del Ballet Cristina Hoyos, wished to revisit some of the poems and dances that have accompanied us in recent years. This is how Lo Flamenco has come about, a show full of the essence of Andalusia, of dance and music. Our dance is a mute rhythm, it is visible music … and a necessity for us.

Solistas del Ballet Cristina Hoyos is a company run by the great Cristina Hoyos, made up of the most outstanding solo dancers of the many who have passed through her companies, with the latest shows directed by José Carlos Plaza. This magnificent cast forms part, continually, of the performances developed by the Museum of Flamenco Dancing in Seville.
