Los lunares del Puma
In Cornellà, Friday 18, due to the rain, the show moves to the Auditori de Sant Ildefons. We will report all changes to the festival's social networks.
The dancer Adrián Vega listens to himself, his sound, his interculturality and the corporeal and sound patrimony that has been generated in him thanks to his encounter with dance.
Being a streamer is common these days, our relationship with the cameras is an everyday thing, sharing our process is a daily activity, and therefore Adrián Vega takes advantage of digital media to explore the format of the performative video-blog, where virtual and physical presence come together to stimulate curiosity. Los Lunares del Puma is a voyeuristic experience in which we can enter an artist’s rehearsal room. In this piece the performer carries out the process of listening to himself, of listening to his sound, of understanding the interculturality and the corporeal and sound patrimony that has been generated in him thanks to his encounter with dance.
Adrián Vega is a choreographer who graduated at the Institut del Teatre and a guest professor at the professional dance conservatory in Barcelona. He considers himself to be a post-Hip Hop artist who works from dance. His choreographic interest lies in the fusion and speculation of the languages of movement. It is in this space where he feels most comfortable to generate patterns of instant improvisation and composition that he has compiled from Breakin’, contemporary dance and new flamenco.
Next: Street Jam, Let’s Dance! with DJ set by Adrián Vega, at 9 pm. A meeting place for exploring the arts of movement together, paying special attention to urban dances.
