A poetic and playful initiatory journey into the world of Maruja Mallo, the fascinating painter of the Generation of ‘27.
A poetic and playful initiatory journey into the world of Maruja Mallo, the fascinating painter of the Generation of ‘27. Her varied works, full of surrealist symbolism and disproportion, are ideal for connecting with the collective imagination of children. So what could be better then transforming these works into movement, creating a surprising visual show that awakens their curiosity?
The Roberto G. Alonso Company, with over 25 years of history, is a leader in Catalonia and in Spain thanks to its distinctive choreographic language, characterised by the fusion of dance with drama and a quirky, imaginative and refined stage concept. Since the company was founded in 1995, the diversification of their creative work has translated into ten indoor shows for adults, five street choreographies and seven children’s/family pieces.
