An initiatory, poetic and lucid journey that will take us into the world of Maruja Mallo, the fascinating painter from the generation of ‘27, to discover her particular surrealist symbolism and connect it with the imagination of children with the aim of awakening their creativity. Mallo's surrealist world is the ideal source of inspiration and the ideal vehicle for this family proposal that vindicates the figure of a woman artist ahead of her time, a pioneer and a feminist symbol.
Roberto G. Alonso founded his company more than two decades ago and, in all these years, he has created indoor and outdoor shows for adults and for younger audiences. But all of them have their own hallmark: the mix of dance with theatrical narrative and the preciousness of the scenery and costumes. Among the latest productions, La fragilidad de los verbos transitivos [The fragility of transitive verbs] or A mí no me escribió Tennessee Williams [Tennessee Williams did not write to me], or Jo Travesti [I, transvestite], among others.
