From the crossover between languages like break-dance, hip-hop and contemporary dance, something new emerges between two young men that defines them both.
Two unknown young men from the same country meet on the other side of the world. Together they discover their passion for dancing and from the crossover between languages such as break-dance and hip-hop they make something new emerge that defines them both. Meeting Point speaks of the places where people meet, of the seas and the oceans that must be crossed in order to meet and the time one must wait.
ERTZA came into being in 2004 under the direction of the dancer and choreographer Asier Zabaleta with the goal of opening a new space in which to be able to create freely through the interaction of different disciplines. Meeting Point was awarded the 2018 MAX Prize for the best street show and the 2017 Umore Azoka Prize for the best street show in Euskadi.
