PLATA
PLATA is a work that uses areas of transit to highlight the idea of contagion, influence, expansion, and the transformation of what we perceive. A way of looking at the spaces we inhabit from a different perspective, allowing us to see ourselves affected by our surroundings. This is why the piece is named PLATA, as silver is a malleable metal with the highest electrical and thermal conductivity of any other metal.
The Big Bouncers Collective is made up of Anna Rubirola, Cecilia Colacrai, and Mireia de Querol, three creators with extensive individual careers as well as collaborations with other artists. Initially, the collective emerged with a clear interest in the body and its possibilities, pushing beyond the boundaries of dance. Their works aim to invite without imposing and to suggest without constricting the public's imagination.
The performance on March 22 in Badalona is a triple program with Cia Laia Santanach and Elelei.
The performance on March 23 in Cornellà accompanies the presentation of the Vibracions project in the city.
