Tan a prop
In Tan a prop, two performers stand on a concave plaster platform, a tiny, solid yet fragile space, hinting at an intimate rapport between bodies. This intimate encounter unfolds through different moments that reflect the complexity of human relationships: from vulnerability to strength. The plaster platform guides their movements and alters the shape of their bodies.
The contemporary dance company Les del Picnic was founded by dancers and creators Júlia Godino and Alexa Moya after their 2018 duet Picnic on the Moon. Since then, they have collaborated with other creators, incorporating new artistic disciplines, such as sculpture in Tan a prop, and continue to explore their interest in objects in Els Dies Raros, a piece that will be presented in an open rehearsal at L’Estruch during this edition of Dansa Metropolitana.
