Trópico

Tropic comes from the Latin "tropĭcus", and before that from the Greek "τροπικός" meaning "turn". Remember this phrase and remember, too, that "life has twists and turns". Everything is cyclical, the earth rotates round its axis every 24 hours, the seasons of the year begin, end and begin again. Women are cyclical; the moon is too. Society is cyclical, as are family patterns, cultural generations, politics, crises, wars and life. Everything is cyclical, everything goes around, everything is Trópico.
Marroch is a contemporary dance company based in Alicante, founded by Salvador Rocher, María Palazón and Melodía García. All three fuse different languages of movement to reach all kinds of audiences. It is a young, fresh, dynamic, constant company with many concerns and aspirations, which wants to generate emotions and transport the audience to another place, the place where the inspiration for the creation of its shows is born.
