VIBRACIONS Barcelona
Area, Espai de Dansa i Creació
Ariadna Montfort presents a piece created, performed and danced in collaboration with students from the local Area, Espai de Dansa i Creació dance school. Accompanied by the instrumental modern music of Nil Ciuró.
In addition, the students from the participating school will also perform the joint project Vibracions, a piece by Sheila Ortega with music by Aurora Bauzà (Telemann Rec.).
MEGASTRUCTURE
Sarah Baltzinger + Isaiah Wilson
MEGASTRUCTURE is a duet that traces the trajectory of two bodies in constant coexistence. A puzzle whose pieces are constantly being disconnected, tested and reinvented. A piece devoid of sound composition or decorations, where the natural rhythm is created by the bodies themselves.
Sarah Baltzinger and Isaiah Wilson co-direct joint projects, including MEGASTRUCTURE, one of the pieces that received support from the Aerowaves platform in 2024. Their work in recent years has earned prestigious awards, such as the XL Production Award from the RIDCC in Rotterdam, thanks to which they’ll be able to embark on an international tour for their new production, GOATS.
MEGASTRUCTURE will also be presented on March 22 in a free double program in Cornellà.
