Before We Say Goodbye
This fourth full-length production by the Taiwanese company B.DANCE intertwines the life stories of ten dancers with those of their ancestors, creating a narrative filled with intimate memories. The performers’ emotions are translated into physical movements that reveal the darkest and brightest corners of their souls. The piece is a delicate ceremony of reminiscence and a celebration of human will in the face of impermanence.
Founded in 2014 and directed by Taiwanese choreographer Po-Cheng Tsai, B.DANCE is one of the most renowned companies on the international scene. It has performed in countries such as Germany, Spain, France and Denmark, and garnered notable success at the Avignon Festival. With the ‘B.OOM by B.DANCE’ project, the company promotes artistic exchanges between Europe and Taiwan, seeking dialogues between art, education and society.
