Workshop “Parafonías”

In this workshop, Blanca Tolsá will share the training process and some of the exercises used to create the piece Parafonías. It will explore questions such as: how can we activate and modulate our voices by understanding movement and its language? How can we visualise our own voices? How does interpreting space and sounds influence the way we move?

She will stimulate multisensory awareness, establishing a communication channel with the other bodies and sounds surrounding the participants that will blur the lines between inside and outside.

The workshop is aimed at dancers who are eager to explore the relationship between their moving bodies and their voices. No prior voice experience is required.

The show Parafonías, by Blanca Tolsá, can be enjoyed from March 13 to 15 in La Caldera (Barcelona).
