Cinemas Girona are the result of the renovation of the old cinemas standing for more than 35 years in carrer Girona in Barcelona, just below the Gràcia neighbourhood. They opened in March 2010 to offer high-quality cinema, with three remodelled halls capable of seating more than 600 spectators.

Aiming to become a multicultural venue, they screen European cinema, films in Catalan, dubbed and subtitled in Catalan, festivals and private screenings and films for children and young adults, among other proposals.
