In the autumn of 2003, the SAT!, housed in a former bus depot, was converted into a new-build theatre with 383 seats specialising in promoting the performing arts.

In 2008, N54 Produccions SL took over the management of the theatre, owned by the City Council Sant Andreu District Office, in order to continue offering a programme of quality and affordable theatre for everyone based on three main areas: shows for adults, shows for families and dance performances.

Beginning in 2012, the SAT! embarked on a new phase: greater emphasis on programming for families and schools.

As a result, the SAT! devotes all its efforts firstly to further strengthening its solid theatre campaign for schools in Barcelona and the surrounding area, and secondly to creating a performing arts programme aimed at children based on three fundamental and firm principles: Fun and Entertainment + Education + Artistic Quality.
