This traditional Galician dance and music show feeds off flamenco influences. A journey to the essence of dance movement, to the root of the uterus of six women on a transgenerational voyage.
The HerdEiras explain the birth of numerous bodies and feelings. In a placeless place, neither above nor below, and of different identities: the infinite finite where a seed fell and spawned millions of universes. The morality of these bodies will be different for everything that sees it and hears it, feels it, smells it... tastes it.
Lavatory door signs become animated characters that speak to us and invite us to reflect on our society's most deep-rooted gender stereotypes. WhiCh removes the conventional and grotesque from lavatory spaces and turns them into an intimate setting for philosophical research, where the absurdity of gender clichés is analysed.
The director's intention is to turn a lavatory into a poetic, dreamlike landscape. The beautiful contradiction of transforming the stage, a place of maximum exposure, into a toilet, a place of guarded intimacy.
You will be impressed by this show, which is a fusion of aerial dance and electronic music, on a large rectangular platform suspended in the air. The music activates the dancers’ aerial journey and turns it into a festival for everyone present, through rhythm, vertical dancing and acrobatic figures. A cathartic performance that encourages free dancing; moving your body and enjoying the moment.
