Bordes y heridas del duende
Where do the distances between the body and its distorted double dissolve? Bordes y heridas del duende is a contemporary flamenco proposal combining electronic music and live audiovisuals, aimed at showcasing young artists residing in Barcelona. Through dance, this blend of disciplines approaches flamenco in an uninhibited, dissident manner, as an act of resistance.
Jordi Latorre is a visual artist who engages with flamenco through the relationship between the body and the image, as a way of expanding audiovisual art beyond the boundaries of screens. This stage performance follows on from La verdadera lucha es con el duende, a documentary conceived in the form of an audiovisual installation. Both projects are created in collaboration with various artists such as Carmen Muñoz, Elisabet Romagosa, Karen Mora, and Miranda Alfonso, with music by Derek van den Bulcke.
The show is free, but you must reserve a place at teatrejoventut.cat
