Set on bringing dance over to everyone, Dansa Metropolitana is offering some fifty free performances held in public spaces in the twelve cities making up this year’s programme. A year on and the festival is back, making a large diverse range of activities accessible through dance and mixed-format shows.
In the deployment of actions located with the territories and with the public, Dansa Metropolitana, develops community projects of participatory dance for the second season, this time in seven cities. An opportunity for the development of cultural rights, going beyond the position of the audience and getting closer to the artistic creation of the hands of dance professionals. Citizens find themselves dancing, occupying public spaces, meeting creators and creative processes and choreographers approaching other ways of working and different kind of dancers.
